mybizlab is an innovative, interactive online program that combines assessment, reporting, and personalized study, all in ONE place. Throughout Better Business, students receive prompts to login to mybizlab and immediately apply and assess their knowledge of the chapter concepts. With mybizlab, students don’t just read about business, they INTERACT with it … through business simulations and other engaging exercises.

Student Components of mybizlab

	BizSkills are real-world scenarios that invite students to apply the principles and concepts they have just learned by assuming the role of a decision-maker at a company. Students are scored on the brief, approximately 5 minute, simulation and then directed to remedial learning aids–such as an eBook, glossary, outlines, or quizzes–to help them review and improve.
	Personalized Study Plan. After the student completes a Pretest, mybizlab generates a customized study plan based on their results. The Study Plan allows students to see at a glance exactly the topics that require additional practice, and directs them to multimedia learning aids, such as related videos, specific eBook sections, and flashcards, for additional help. After students work through the learning aids, they can take a Post Test to see their improvement and prove mastery on the topics
	The Video Library features a variety of topical business videos, including all of the text-specific videos students will need to watch in order to complete the end-of-chapter Video Case.
	Interactive Document Makeovers ask students to analyze and correct business documents such as email messages, letters, memos, blogs, and resumes. Immediate feedback is provided.
	Simple, concise Business Plan Exercises, written to accompany the Business Plan Mini-Chapter, can be assigned at any point during the course.
	mybizlab gives students access to additional resources to complement all learning styles. They can access a digital version of the full text, including the complete glossary and index, as well as a complete Electronic Study Guide.
	Students can download Audio Study Guides for on-the-go review of chapter objectives and summaries.
